For my Granddad I Remember… I remember the twinkle in your eye as you ordered ham, egg and chips in a café. I remember the cigar smoke as we walked the dog along country lanes. I remember your fork waving in the air at Sunday roast dinners in time to the music. I remember you “resting your eyes” in an armchair after lunch. I remember you sitting ever patient in a chair in M&S as clothes were selected. I remember you playing “Little Brown Jug” for me on the organ.
